An In-Person Verification (IPV) is done when your PAN isn’t KYC-compliant. This is a Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI) requirement. You need to create two videos; one with the PAN card in hand and the other with your address proof document in hand.
- How to make the video
You just have to record a clear video of yourself, holding up your original document. Ensure that the video displays the Aadhar card (address should match the one that you provided on your application form).
You will need to hold up your Aadhar card, facing the camera, for a minimum of 10 seconds so that the details are captured clearly. Additionally, for this, you will need to state that ''the document is original and belongs to you''.
In case you do not have an Aadhar card, you can use an alternate document that has the same address that you have on your application form.
Please note: If your address proof does not have your name and address mentioned on the same side, you will need to show both sides of your document.
