What are screeners?

Stock screeners are tools that allow investors and traders to sort through thousands of individual securities to find those that fit their own methodologies.

OHL: Oen = High or Low?

We use this screener to check the bullishness/bearishness of the stock after opening bell. If open = day's low, then the stock is considered bullish. If the open + day's high, then the stock is considered bearish.

(ORB) Opening Range Breakout & Previous Range Breakout (PRB)

If the price of the stock is crossing the opening range (price range of first 15 minutes in a day ) then ORB Screener is activated, If the price is crossing the opening range high, then the stock is bullish. If the price is crossing the opening range low, then the stock is bearish.

Similarly in PRB, if the price of a stock crosses the previous day's high, then we say it is bullish. if the price crosses previous day's low, then we say it is bearish

NR4 / NR7 Breakout

If a stock has been consolidating for the last 4 or 7 days, then they are called NR4 and NR7 stocks respectively. A previous range breakout (PRB) will trigger a bullish or bearish signal in these stocks.

Pivot Points

Pivot points are very commonly used in technical analysis. If a share price crosses a pivot point, marketfeed screener will give you a heads-up. For eg; if the R1 Pivot Point of reliance is at rs 2005, the screener will display "r1" when the share is round that pivot point and so on for S1, S2, S3 and R2, R3.

Price Burst

If a stock gives a sudden move at the last minute, the price burst screener is activated. It will give a bullish signal if the price jumps up, or a bearish signal if the price falls down.
